my 10 year old son is having severe pains in his head , they are consuming the whole of his head not localised to either side and he is crying out in agony and saying we are talking too loud when we are only whispering this is the first time it has happened, his vision is normal as is his temperature, it has been going on for 10 minutes is this cause for concern

Headache and Migraines Answer A22480
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The headache that he is experiencing could be migraine headache, tension headache, or associated with vascular or nervous system. Do not ignore his symptoms. Get him examined by his doctor at the earliest. He might need to have an EEG scan and CT scan of head done to look for any underlying causes. Once cause is identified, appropriate treatment can be started.
