OMG, ok so let's not beat around the bush, I'm an 18 yr old in the Army Reserves, and my boyfriend who is in the Active Army is leaving for Iraq on April 24th. Oh by the way, we have been having unprotected sex and I may be pregnant. He has no clue. he has ejaculated inside me on more than one occasion and quite frankly i'm nervous. So people go ahead with the dissapproving remarks, but somewhere among the criticizing please give some advice I can actual use. Confused

Any time you have unprotected sex, there is a chance of pregnancy.
And since you both did, and he finished inside you, there can be a possible chance that you are pregnant.
Are you on birth control?
Right now, you can only wait till your next period is due, and take a test and the earliest you can test is 4 days before your missed period. [if yo know when you expect your period.]

What advice are you looking for? First off if he is leaving, unless you are planning to abort on your own if you are pregnant you need to inform him!

Second, have you missed a period? If so, have you tested?

Most of the time a simple at home pregnancy test will confirm your pregnancy for you. Then you need to decide what you will be doing from there.

There is no need to panic about pregnancy if you have yet to confirm it...

I understand that you have been having unprotected sex. However if you happen not to be pregnant, there are so many free versions of birthcontrol that you can get! Get informed and care and learn about your body hun!

hi, my name is alicia, im 19 now, i get pregnant when i was 17. my (now) husband is in the navy. my daughter was born may 28th (2007) and my husband had to leave july 15th, and now theres a possibility he could be leaving again in october of this year. its hard, i wont lie to you, sometimes i wish we just had a normal life but thats not how it is.

you do need to get a test though. if you are not pregnant then you should get on birthcontrol (unless your wanting a baby of course) tricare offers plenty of birth control options (im going out on a limb and assuming you have tricare, im sorry if im wrong)

also if you are pregnant the army can not kick you out, ive heard of cases where they tri to get you to leave but they cant kick you out just for pregnancy. i know plenty of pregnant women who are in the navy

good luck

In Response to what to do!
First off if you want to find out for sure take a test, then if you are tell him right away! So, he can make sure to let tricare know! I'm a Milspouse, and I'm currently pregnant in Korea! Believe me, its hard being deployed, but he should know if you are! It gives deployed soldiers something to look forward to, but there is alot of paperwork that he is going to need to fill out prior to deployment in order for any dependent of his to receive any military benefits, and NO you don't have to be married for his child to receive benefits, just make sure to take care of paperwork before he leaves! Please PM me.
