I just had Implanon inserted 5 days ago. I had really light spotting at first but today I woke up and as soon as I stood up I had to bolt to the bathroom because of the amount of blood. Around noon it did it again. It's not a constant bleeding it's more of instantly and the pad was filled in like 2 seconds. I decided to put a tampon and pad on and an hour later I had to bolt again and when i sat on the toilet the tampon was pushed out by a huge blood clot and the pad was over-filled. I was at my son's dr. appt and was so scared I put tons of toilet paper and a pad. When leaving (10 min) I felt it again. I decided to jog to the car and as I did sure enough it POURED OUT. It looked like I peed blood in my pants. And it kept bleeding on my way home. Then at home I noticed a golf ball sized blood clot when i peed. I peed every 15 min and this is the order. (3 softball sized blood clots, then 3 golf ball) and now I'm passing smaller ones. I called the dr and they said it's not normal but not uncommon and that my hormones were out of whack and just call in 2 hours if I filled 3 pads. I said ok. But I mean i filled 3 pads in like 5 minutes!!! She said it could be just an episode. Can anyone tell me if this is normal or what I should do??????
