hi ive had a lump on my right outer thigh for about 2 months and it has grown really big since its raised 4 cm above the skin and is about 4 inches wide, ive been to my GP and have to wait 4 weeks for an ultra sound it is a soft lump doesn't hurt but i do get very bad pains in my leg sometimes. tell me what you think im really worried i am a 21 year old female.

Hello and thank you for posting your medical question on E health forum.

From the history provided, the decscription and the location indicate that the lump could be a lipoma. This is a benign and very common collection of fatty tissue.

You might consider to wait for the ultrasound for a definitive diagnosis.
