i think it is ok at least your eating and drinking lol, i had 3months when i was pergnant that i couldnt eat or drink without getting sick all the time, it stoped after that but when in hospital the nurses told me its better than eating nothing, but all through been pergnant all i ate was choc and fizzy drinks even for breakfast and my baby turned out alright no prolems at all with her shes 10months now and fine, so think its up to yourself well if thats what you crave than thats what the baby wants and hey what baby wants baby should get lol.

Your baby eats what you eat!

Would you hand over a pop or candy to a newborn?

These things are okay in small doses, everyone wants some sweets or chocolate when pregnant, as long as you are eating a healthy balanced diet and not substituting meals with candy and pop its okay as a treat.

You also have to be careful of gestational diabeties which you can be tested for later in pregnancy.

yes the baby does eat what you are eating and drinking. but everything in moderation. no you would not give a newborn a pop or candy but you would probalby give it to a toddler. anything in excess is bad for you. just remember if you gut feeling tells you no than don't. drastic lifestyle changes after you find out you are pregnant can be just as harmful. i had a cup of coffee every morning with my first and a few glasses of ice tea and sure i craved the typical candy bar once in a while had a few glasses of wine during my pregnancy and my now 17m old baby girl is ahead of her marks and doing great. granted everyone is different and everyones opnions are different. follow your docs advise to the best of your ablity.

soda and candy during pregnancy
i think that as long as you feel ok with what u eat it should be fine i mean dont eat a ton of it but i drink soda everyday and eat candy to and i have had 2 beautiful kids my daughter is 23 and already learning her abc's and my 17 month ol is smart enough to climb out of bed take off his diaper and pee in the potty and he knows his first few abc's as well so i dontthink caffiene effects the baby to bad

you can have soda and candy in pregnancy.
if u drink caffine drinks its best to keep it minimal, no more than 3 servings of caffine is probly safe iv read.

all i would suggest is try not to have more than the recomended daily intake of sugary things. just because it could cause diabeaties and make u gain weight u cant get rid of after the birth.

i went all out on chocolets last time i was prego and was 10kg hevier than my pre pregnancy weight even 2 years after!

You do need to gain weight for pregancy but its best to gain from the healthy foods!

best wishes!
