I am just in the early stage of california disability just started on 3/28/08 i think I have to be on calif disability for one year so I am on till oct hopefully my doc will extend it for another 6 months as i will be 60 in sept i do not want to go back to a lesser paying job and get less on my social security when i turn 62 should i get a lawyer to help with applying for social security disability? When should I begin the process?
