Q: smoking lung pain

i have been smoking for years on and of ,have been having a pain in my left shoulder also for years doctors used to teel me it's inflamation but recently the pain has been getting sharper as if there is something poking in my lung ,could it be lung cancer i have some irritating cough and i feel that there is something but i can't cough it out but there is no shortness in breath and i'm not coughing blood or wheezing adn i don't feel any fatigue please help

What's the exact location of the lung pain?
When is the lung pain mostly prominent?
Do you have chronic cough?
