Q: smelly vagina with some white discharge

i usually get white discharge a week before my period but i think i may have an infection. it doesn't stink horribly but i noticed the smell changed. is there any treatment i can do without medication that works? does it usually go away when my period starts? Embarassed

can bacterial vagenosis pass on it's own?
