I have had a smelly discharge for past 9 months. First noticed when I was 7 weeks pregnant. I went on to have a miscarriage at 14 weeks was told it was a missed miscarriage and fetal development was only 7-8 weeks. Since I still have smelly discharge and have been treated twice with flagyl cream and only seems to clear it for a couple of days afet I stop using. I also have irregular periods since my miscarriage and have pain in ovaries and lower back. Really worried something is wrong and I might not be able to have anymore children. Also smell is really affecting my sex life.

Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum

Foul smelling vaginal discharge is indicative of infection.Sometimes after a miscarriage infection and pain can be present suggestive of PID.Irregular periods are indicative of Hormonal imbalance.
You require a pelvic examination and investigations as USG scan and Hormonal Analysis to rule out the exact cause.Consider visiting a Gynaecologist as you require an appropriate treatment.

Take Care!
