Okay, now it's a common misconception that if a woman smells, "not so fresh" down there that she doesn't wash herself. I am a woman and SERIOUSLY self concious about oral sex. I thoroughly clean "down there" everyday but sometimes the smell just returns. It doesn't smell horrible, it's just, you know, "the smell". It kind of smells sweet or something. I dunno. Anyways, I WILL NOT let a guy go down on me unless I've cleansed the area with a cleansing cloth "Playtex Cleansing Cloths" to be exact. If I don't, I don't enjoy it, because the entire time i'm thinking "Oh My God, i smell, what is he thinking about how I smell, etc, so on and so on.."
I've heard that some women have a fishy smell and this has happened to me a long time ago (i think I had an infection), and I had a bit of a bad experience when having oral sex with a guy.
It was a one night stand sort of thing, and he got down like he was about to perform, and he paused about 2 inches above my vagina and didn't do anything, that REALLY upset me, and since then i've been really adamant about cleansing before sex...which can lead to my being dry at first, me being self concious about if he's tasting the cleansing cloths, etc.
