Q: smelling smoke?

My mother has been smelling smoke for the past month. It hasn't been constant but it has been happening for a month. She is a non-smoker, and is never around smokers. Her nasal passage also hurts and stings. Any ideas of what this means? Should I be worried?

Hi ecks,
Have your mom go to a ear, noses and throat specialist.

Good Luck,
