Hi Folks,

Great site here for help and discussions.

I was wondering if anyone could help me with a question that I have.

I noticed a while back, possibly last summer that in between 2 small moles on left arm, there is a slightly-yellow-tanned area. It is quite small and is less than 1cm in width. It looks fairly circular and does not seem to have a bumpy rugged surface. It seems to be only visible under certain lighting as well (I forgot about it for this long) until I seen it recently. I also have a lot of hair on my arms.

It looks like a small bruise but does not hurt in any way, only after a thorough inspection of lifting up my arm hairs and looking over. It really is quite faint but was wondering if someone could give me advice on it. I can only recall noticing it 10months ago but simply forgot about it, thinking it was a bruise. It is sometimes very difficult to even see it in certain lights. For example I can't see it right now.

Many thanks in advance,

Hi and Welcome to eHealth
Hello there, I am sorry no one responded to your post, I jsut found it. What you are describing could very well just be skin discoloration, but to be on the safe side,I'd see a dermatologist. Its ALWAYS better to be safe than sorry, and besides it will put your mind at ease. If this should turn out to be something that needs to be taken care of, at least you have caught early and seen a physican. Good luck! Keep us posted!
