Q: small white bumps on penis shaft

hi im 18 and a virgin so its not a std thats for sure well there in clusters and i reackon theres about 100-200 maybe few more there ugly not itchy they dont hurt or bleed u can see them more when i have a erection but even if i dont u can still see them some r big where looks like they joined into each other but some r tiny im worried about them but i think they are follicle spots iv looked at alot of web sites and think thats what i got i dont want to go see a doc because my mum and dad will then find out so if by what iv said u think its follicle spots and also will they ever go? thanks would be greatful for any replies

These bumps sound like they are fordyces spots. they are very normal and are not contagious. i think the only way you might be able to get rid of them is to get them lasered off. I wouldnt worry about doing that because they are completely harmless. I hope this helps. Also if they are around your head those bumps are called pearly penile papules and they are harmless also

If they are underneath your penis they are just sweat glands and ingrown hairs getting ready to come out. It's normal. I have them and so do many other guys. Nothing to freak out about. They will gradually decrease as you get older.

i have this problem also. if this bothers you, you need to still see a doctor. even if its been awhile still do it. do not wait for them to go away, i dont think they will. try to go to the doctor on your own. set a goal, even longterm if you have to, to visit the doctor. try to say it to someone who can help.
