I have had a small, sesame seed sized bump on my lower lip for about two years now. It seems less obvious when my lips a dry, but when I use lip moisturizer, it seems to get a little bigger. never bigger than a sesame seed. It doesn't hurt unless I try to bite it. I would love to know what this is, and if it can be removed.

I found I developed something tiny like this about 20 years ago...I went to the Dermatologist to have it taken off...I figured lazared or whatever they did...He would not do it...He wanted to just leave it alone...About 6 years ago I found out that all my doctor reports with all the doctors I see, has this at the top alert of something to watch out for...The size and shape pictures were there...It is not that big, but it is watched...I never knew it as he didn't scare me...Now I find that this is a good place for a cancer to start...

I would leave it...Not because I am telling you, but why disturb something that may stay dormant...I understand that this is just my opinion, but I am happy I left mine alone...

Good luck...

Ok, but it makes people wary. Even my husband won't kiss me with it on my mouth.

Please understand I meant for you to have this checked...This is true especially with your husband's concern...However, if there is a hesitancy with your doctor of taking it out, then think it over....I am not sure what yours looks like compared to mine...You must be careful with everything...
