so, i have been sexually active for the past 5 years, but this only started happening recently (the last 3 months) it is really starting to scare me, and i have no way to a doctor at the current moment, so i wanted to ask someone.
I do shave my genital area so i dont know if it is from this or not.
I keep getting one small bump on either the right or left side of my genital area almost near my leg (the crease) and its pretty far back. I only ever get 1 here at a time, and randomly i will feel a pain in it. i dont know if this is because of the location and always moving or what.
Its not really clear like most people say a harpies blister is, but its kind of redish. through the middle there's always like a cut. these have appeared for the past 3 months a week before my period.. im REALLY scared. i don't know what this is..
Please help? =[
p.s ( i only get 1 a month )

the best way is to know is to go to a doctor. they have free health clinics throughout many cities. especially clinics that specialize in testing for sexually transmitted diseases. my advice is not to have sex (oral or otherwise) until you see a doctor and get tested. at the very least, use protection, but the best thing to do is do be inactive. only a doctor and testing can give you a definitive answer. i wish you the best. =) by the way, don't be afraid. it's a difficult to see a doctor about this regard. but just know that it's not the end of the world, there are treatments for this (not cures, however).

I would suggest that you totally ignore this and feel free to give the gift that keeps on giving. Protection, you mean a rubber? How on earth would wear a rubber over the lump? Herpies is just one "gift" that is transmitted even with the use of such devices. Obviously you both touch other places or either side of where the condom is "protecting" So by all means, ignore this festering lump and wear protection and listen to the good advice of your peers.
And you wonder why almost a third of the population is infected, go figgure.
