One inch is absolutely normal when you do not have an erection. Especially when you are nervous or cold. I speak from alot of experience. I am a football coach and during my 10 career, I saw alot of penises. Do not be worried about the Dr. The Dr has seen all shapes and sizes, but believe me one inch flacid is nothing to be embarrased about, and 3 to 4 inches is perfectly normal. In fact I have even seen guys whos penises would tuck up inside like a scared turtle, and all you see was a patch a hair. Even this can be normal.
