Hi,

I am a 31 year old male. I am about 50 lbs. over weight, and I am not very physically active (I have a desk job).

For years now, every several months I will notice a lump (maybe two) that show up around my sphincter. They are typically a little smaller than the circumference of a dime. They are semi-hard and will move slightly when pushed. They do not cause me any pain or discomfort. From what I can tell, they are definitely under the skin (vs. outside like a wart). I have never seen a doctor because I am embarrassed, and because they go away after a few weeks.

Today I woke up to find one bump as described above, but also a smaller one right next to it (smaller than a pea, and a little larger than the head of a pin). The smaller one is very hard. It is definitely under the skin and moves slightly when pushed. This is the first time I have ever noticed a small hard bump (always been larger and more soft, like the ones described above).

I am kinda nervous, and am not sure if I should wait to see if they go away. Today is Friday, and I was thinking I would see a doctor if they were still there on Monday.

Any advice?

Thanks so much for the help. I am not sure if I should be worried. Sad
