I have the same issue...have had it for nearly 25years. When I told my parents about it, they took me to the optometrist, they sent me to an opthamologist, they sent me to OU medical center in OKC for testing, they then sent me back home and admitted me to the hospital for further testing and cat scans...they couldn't diagnose it for whatever reason, and I have lived with it since. It's also in my left eye.
