small cysts on penis??

hi im a sexual active 23year old, i noticed a small mark on the shaft of my penis and i was at the dermatologist so i asked him and he told me it was just a cyst. i was fine with that but now it looks like there are a few more...is this possible?? are they just cysts?? should i be worried? they are very small almost like a grain of sand and are raised,you can feel it when u rub a finger across them, 2 seem to have a white look to them, but is this just normal?? ive never had them before and im going to the doctors regardless but if any one has any info please let me know thanks. is this like a type of herpes?
