Hi i'm a 17 years old, and a few days ago noticed a small bump on the underside of my penis on the shaft right underneat the head, somewhat to the right. At first I believed it to be a pimple or something of that sort, but it hasn't seemed to go down in size whatsoever. There is very small redness around the actuall bump, but nothing itches. When i squeeze or press on it with small amounts of force it hurts a little bit. the top of it is sort of shiny like. I've never had sex before so i don't believe it could be any STD, but was wondering if it could possibly be a cancer lump or something else? I haven't tried to pop it, but one suggestion on another similar case on this sight said to pinch it and insert a small sewing needle and drain it and clean it with peroxide. I'm just curious as to whether or not i should be woried about this or if it is something that will go away. Thanks so much for your help!

Because you have not been sexually active before, STD's are not of concern. Could be a pimple. Use very warm compresses on the area and see if you can get it come to a head and drain. Do not stick a needle in there! give it a week or so, and see if it goes down or goes away. If it gets bigger, you might want to have it checked, as it could be a cyst or something of that nature. I would not be worried about cancer at this point.
