small bump on the back of my head, constant pain...

Hi i recently discovered a small bump on the back of my head about the size of an pencil eraser right in the center above where my neck meets my skull. It causes a slight pain when i apply pressure and sort of a constant pain that comes and goes. I am extremely worried, wondering if i should get it checked out??
