I am having a terrible time with high blood pressure, I have not been able to find a medication that I can take, the ac inhibitors work well, but I break out in a red rash on both arms. The other drugs including diurectics make my slow heart worse, right now it beats between 42 to 49 during day time. I am so tired and scared. I am a widow of 59. Ann

You need to be examined for underlying heart or endocrine condition, since you have very slow heart rate.
Long-standing hypertension can result in heart damage leading to abnormal heart rate.

Consult your cardiologist!

I truly sympathise. I have similar problems in that I cannot tolerate any BP medication (tried 10) I now have excruciating neuropathies in my feet and hands and hips. Pain killers only raise BP further. Also cannot function any more normally. Not getting much help from doctors, - all in my mind according to them - what would they know about the pain!

slow heart with high blood blood pressure.
My resting heart rate is between 45-62 average is 55 my doctor said I may need pacemaker if it goes lower than 40 also he said say it is stange that my resting blood pressure varies between 120 and up to 192 and still heart is no higher than 62 he says that is strange but offered no explanation. I am still researching it.
