Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum and thanks for writing

Pregnancy can be detected by any test only after a missed period. Light bleeding/spotting is an early pregnancy symptom and is present during the expected period date or nearing that. But if it is associated with cramps and sever pain then it requires immediate attention.

Relax and wait for sometime. If her expected period date is nearby and they do not start even after a week then get a Blood hcg test done for pregnancy determination.Kindly visit a Gynaecologist for evaluation.have healthy balanced diet and avoid any strenous activity.

Take care!
