Q: Sleeping too much / very deep sleeper

Lately, I've been sleeping very, very much. Like 9-12 hours at a time. I slept till 3pm yesterday. I usually sleep late, but this is bad. I also am, suddenly, a VERY deep sleeper. I used to be a pretty light sleeper (i.e. if my phone went off - even on vibrate - I could hear it and it would wake me up). Now, if the ringer is on high and right next to my head, either I sleep through it or turn it off in my sleep.
I'm constantly tired, even though I get this much sleep. It happened suddenly and I'm quite worried.
Does anybody know what could be wrong with me?

Have you quit smoking? Do you drink less coffee? Maybe you just need a vitamin. It will perk you up, you will have alot more energy. Maybe you are doing too much, so you are overly tired. Do you have a very hard or tiring job? That could be the case.
