Ok so I'm a teenager, and I'm sleeping in my mums bed because of my sleep paralysis. They are so terrifying, and she can tell when I'm in one because of my breathing, and she'll wake me up by shaking me. This is okay, apart from the fact last night I had about seven, and she had to stay up because I was so scared. I feel mean now. But I'm so terrified at the same time!

im 17 and i had sleep paralysis occur 2 nights ago and it scared the crap out of me. I was in my bed in the middle of the night and in my closet i saw a demon staring back at me and had a very ominous feeling i tried to move but my body wouldn't move much i felt very weak. It was a terrifying experience! im not sure if i was still in a dream or had woken up and was hallucinating but scary either way.

I've also had them before when i was younger i would be dreaming and have a nightmare where something is about to killed like being crushed by boulders or about to be eating by a giant spider and not being able to move struggling to do sowith all my might finally waking up breathing heavily and covered in sweat.

anyways back to you, 7 times in one night! i would go to a doctor its possible you may have a sleep disorder of some sort and need medications or it could be your going through stressful times and it manifesting itself as sleep paralysis nightmares.

I know it's scary, but it's nothing to worry about. Your brain does this to protect you so you can't act out your dreams. Sometimes there is a lag for a few seconds after you wake up before you can move.

I agree that if it's getting more frequent or is bothering you this much, you should go to a sleep specialist. You said your mom notices a difference in your breathing? What did you mean by that? Do you stop breathing?

Perahpes they are just waiting for us to leave our bodies, where we are more valnurable to the evil entities.

Some spirits are just waiting for a door to open so that they can come into our plaine.

I ave actulay had one episode without the terror and feeling of an evil pressance. there was one time when i had woken up in the morning and could not move whatso ever, i was only frustrated. then I saw the form of a person standing next to my bed, i could see through it, and it's aura was magnificant! it bent towards me and i heard a voice as if it were in my head say, i love you.
it's then hugged me.

I believe that sleep paralysis is a spiritual expirience. but i still agree that doctors are partly right about how it happenes, but i still believe that during SP we are close to the viel between the astral and physical plaines.
