Hello,

I been suffering from Sleep paralysis since i was 12 years old. I'm now 21 years old and its never gone away. at first i thought i was just crazy and i didint want to say anything. Lately these attacks if you wat to call them have increased. Normally i tend to get these about 4-5 times a month. How ever just this week i have been going through them everyday. I just recently researched this and confirmed that its not just me lol... I just want to see what medication i can take to reduce these attacks since i know its something that wont go away completly. I have herd that marijuana helps reduce these attacks, I have also herd of a medication called Sodium oxybate(xyrem). I dont really know if any of these would work, but i do know that i really want to reduce these attacks. so i would like to know if i visit my doctor i would be able to legally get a marijuana prescription, since i have always had allot of trouble taking pills. Hi, I understand you and the problem that you're having, but my dear friend if you haven't begun to smoke weed up to now, please don't start to do it any time soon. You'll feel great at first and who knows maybe for a while, but the negative consequences, I can assure won't be to your benefit. I, myself had smoked weed continuosly for 21 yearsand that has unfortunately brought many problems for me. My best advice to you, DON'T DO IT, you'll regret the day that you even thought about messing with it. be glad you did.
