You may be able to control your symptoms with self-care and medication. Self-care includes learning as much as possible about lupus, maintaining good communication with your health professional, and developing a healthy lifestyle: healthy diet, exercise, not smoking/ quitting smoking. Medications that may be used to treat lupus include nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs such as aspirin, ibuprofen and naproxen), corticosteroids, antimalarials, and immunosuppressants.
This will not guarantee that he will not have any more lupus attacks but this should lessen the chances of any future attacks and reduce the severity of any future attacks.

I have no idea if yoga could help. It contributes to his overall health so it certainly won't hurt.
