I have been on Alesse 28 for over a year now and I want to skip my period because its going to fall on my vacation!
Wonderful, I know!
Does anyone think this is not such a great idea, will it confuse my body?
I have heard of people trying to skip periods and then they end up spotting for 2 or 3 weeks. Ah!
I understand that you just have to continue with a new pack...instead of taking a week off (taking placebo pills).
Could anyone give me some advice from their experience?
Thanks

This "period skipping " will confuse your body and might cause some spotting after that but you shouldn't have any bigger problems if you do this procedure only occasionally and not too often.
If you like to skip your expected period throw out the placebo pills and start another pack right after you finish the active pills from the previous pack.
