Hi Jess, Well don'tknow just yet have all my fingers andtoes crossed as I do my 2nd blood test today and find out this afternoon - if I am not it will e hard to take - as everything pointed that way - but my specialist advise me that my ovulation might be going wrong hence all the symptoms similar to those of being pregnant.
I feel for you too - as if has been hard and I have been doubting my feelings a lot lately - is this real, is it in my head,,,, type things - I know that a baby will be very very very welcome - as it is out of love.... so I'll keep you posted - thanks for commenting.... hope you can sharemore on what your going through.

I to am in a similiar situation ladies, I had my mirena removed on the 15th of Nov. 2010, after having it for a little over 3 years, always had a regular cycle, had one two weeks prior to having the mirena removed, my fiancee and I had sex the day after removal, bled a few days after that, had sex again once I was done with the bleeding, bled again a day after that, i'm not sure if one of those episodes were supposed to have been my cycle or not, But I know that I haven't seen a regular cycle since the removal. Was one of those my actual cycle?

Ugggggghhhhh . . . . I know so frustrating I had my mirena removed on 4/12 and still havent started my period had sex on the 16th and now I have been having all the symptoms of pregnancy but i've take what seems like 10 test and all say negative what gives ??? Is it to early I really feel pregnant and now my partner says maybe it's all in my head because I want it so bad and idk im starting to feel crazy now !! Is it too early to test still I havent done this in almost 7yrs so im allitle out of practice but I know my own body or atleast I thought I did ??I hate to keep taking test and getting let down I just want to confirm what I already feel I know ! I can not even fit my new bras I just bought on the 9th of last month and my boobs are sore I have had thick discharge (sorry tmi ) stomach has gotton seemingly bigger right under my boobs just the top though having hot flashes like crazy and experincing morning sickness that comes and goes , sensitive to smell very emotional and tired all the time so idk what to think or do ???

i had mines for 5 years and i am experiencing several things you mentioned include stomach bigger under my breast. thats what i told my husband too i know my body but just like you said i have had quite a few negative tests..very discouraging..has anything changed in your situation or are you still trying?

had my mirena removed in feb 2011 after having it for 3 years. got my period may 18th. was due to get my second one around june 15th-16th and i still havent gotten it. took a test on the 19th and it was negative. guess i need to wait a little longer and take another one.

cnjsapp did you not get ur first period until 3 months after removal??i had my iud out 5 weeks ago and had no bleeding what so ever had it in for inly 4 months had i period while it was in that was 5.5 weeks ago and cycle is every 5 weeks so only a few days late from last cycle but im NEVER late!!to scared to do a test incase it says no!but on the other hand will be relieved if period comes as ill now everything is normal again!!!!

I am in the same boat. Had my mirena removed about 5 weeks ago, had a long bleed afterwards (when AF due) and now period is late, I feel sick, tired, sensitive etc but pregger test says no. Really thought I was pregnant. Would be interested to know what's happened to those of oyou in a similar situation....

really confused ....i had my mirena in for 6 months got it removed had my period regularly the hole time on it now no period for 3 months i had 3 days of brown spotting 3 days after i got it took out..i have all the pregnancy symptoms ive took probably 10 pregnancy test and still showing negative i have 2 boys so i no what its like to feel pregnant but never had a problem showing a positive test ...please sumone tell me something

Ok so I'm freaking out that no one is coming back to say whether they were or weren't preggers. I'm having the same issue. IUD out April 23 and no period but light bleed (2 days bright red-I know TMI) a few days after my period should have come. I"m having all PG symptoms: no appetite, nauseous all the time, boobs are killing me, so freaking tired and gas like a truck driver ( IKR). I doubt it would be a big deal b/c I have a long cycle --somewhere between 30-33 days--but after seeing all these women in the same situation I'm freaking out because I'm worried it could be an ectopic b/c of the negative HPTs (one blood too somewhere in the week my period should've come). Someone please reply!!!

You are all killing me! I am also 6 days late after my first post mirena period. I feel like I am pregnant, but testing negative. I promise I will post when I know either way. The only difference is my first period was EXTREMELY heavy. I also did not have any periods for the almost four years I was on Mirena.

I have a daughter who's a little over 2 years old & I've had my mirena put in of September of 2010 & had it taken out july 10th of this year & got my cycle on the 12th (lasted 4-5 days) missed my expected cycle date for august so i took a pregnancy test & it came out negative. thought maybe i was just going to get my period in august late but i never got it and now it's September and i thought what was my period starting but i only bled for one day & after that it stopped. took so much tests but they all come out negative but I've been experiencing some symptoms of nausea , fatigue and some headaches. have not yet seen a doctor, could i possibly be pregnant? help please.

i removed my mirena 8/3 and was told my pd would return that very day, but it had not. i had brownish discharge for 3 days and that was it. Then 9/3 i had more discharge for 3 days and then nothing. I had mirena for 2.9 years and a continual period but now I have nothing. I took a test and negative. So now i dont know what to do because I want another child.
