Skipping my period on the Pill ? Posted: 05-26-08 21:49pm
I am not on the Pill because I am not
concerned with getting or not getting
pregnant, so this is probably a dumb
question. I started my period on May 17
and just realized that I will be in the
African jungle on June 17. Is there any
way at all I can skip my period for June,
or is it too late now?

if you're not already on the pill its
probably too late, if you wanted to start
the pills just to skip a period for a
month then it wouldn't probably be more of
a pain than just having your period, when
I first started yaz I'd get random dizzy
spells, and feel nauseated, random
headaches and there was spotting for about
a month...it took me 2-3 packs of pills
before the symptoms subsided...maybe
looking into a pill like seasonale in the
future would be a good idea if you wanted
less frequent periods, but as for starting
just for a month just so you can miss your
period for one month isn't worth it
