I've been on tri-sprintec for about 6 months. Two weeks ago, I stopped taking my pills on a thursday, I took three pills on sunday, and then refilled my prescription and began a new pack on the following thursday. I've been taking one pill a day at the same time every day since then.

my question is, will it take a month for the pill to become active again?

thank you for your help.

You should start your new back on the first day of your period or the sunday after you start. Because you missed so many pills, you need to start back at square one
