skin- rash around my anus should i be worried?

i have had a red rash around my anus for a few months. it has a defined perimeter and sometimes itches. i make sure to keep it clean but nothing seems to work to make it go away. i have used A&D ointment, antibacterial, and most recently anti fungal. sometimes it subsides,but usually always comes back. i have had 2 sexual partners, and both have been clean. so i dont think it is an std. but should i be worried?
if i were to go to a doctor would it be better to see my doctor that im going to see for my well woman exam, or a dermatologist?
