Q: Skin Bumps plus swelling

ok, well about a year ago i developed these little bumps on my arm not widespread just in one little area.. at first i read the term Keratosis pilaris and so i didn't really worry... butin the last 2 weeks the skin under the bumps has swollen and the bums have become painfull and itchy does anyone have any idea what it is or what i can do to help it?
