Hi,

I'm a 19-year-old girl. I've noticed over the past year that in photographs, the skin around my eyes and my mouth is extremely yellow. It is harder to notice around my mouth, but extremely prominent around my eyes. In-person, I haven't really noticed it around my mouth, but can see it around my eyes. My eyes themselves are not yellow. I read that jaundice would require that my eyes be yellow as well, yet I found a picture of a boy whose skin is identical to mine who is described as being a "patient with jaundice."

I am making an appointment with my doctor but would like any advice or input anyone can offer. Thanks. Smile

Yellowing Skin is usually an indication of problems with the liver. It could be mild or major...seek medical attention.
