Have been feeling unwell for some time now(12 months ). Dry mouth, Dry Eyes, Receding gum's, tiredness. Libido dropped from normal, high to complete zero. im a 38 years old. Thought I may be going through the peri menopause. Periods have remained unchanged. Tested on three occasions and all hormones apart from Progesterone came back normal. Progesterone quite high. Gp thought it may be Sjogrens. Did some bloodwork ie ANA etc. All came back normal. He is now reluctant to send me to a rheumatologist/endocronologist. Any ideas on the high progesterone? Booked in for an ultra sound next. Frustrated

Hi I am sorry I jsut saw this post..I have extemem Sjorgens..My eyes will dry so bad at night that if i did not use lube eye ointment at bedtie my lids would dry to my eye balls..This has happened and I have had corneal abrasios from it..I don't have tear ducts so puntucal occlusions is not an opition for me to try..I have tried Restaisis and other drops some helps for a bit otehrs haven't I have xtrememe moth dryness and lost all my teeth to this..My nose bleeds and my throat is so dry that it hurts and food gets stucki..Lab roke doesn't always coms back positive but when it does it has extreme high levels..

Be sure to see an Opthalmologist witht he dry eyes--it is considered a medical diagnosis and insurance will cover for a specialist to see you...I see a Rheum, Pain spec, and endo..I recently began to let my Rheum. take over as he is better at helpoing me than the endo..My endo i began to think is a quack as he never heped me but the Rheum. is ..

Best of luck to oyu..It is a hard disease to live with as it can affect so much..
