I am currently 4 weeks pregnant, I read that right now it should be the size of a period at the end of a sentence....but I am wondering, Since I start school in the fall...how big will my baby be at 12 weeks? More or less?

From what I understand that the baby is roughly around 2.5 inches long at 12 weeks. I am 14 weeks along now and they say the baby is around 3.5 inches. Good Luck!

Is this your 1st? If it is then you will probably begin to show at about 20 weeks maybe later. I just looked chubby at 6 months, then at about 6 1/2-7 months I really popped out and you could totally tell I was pregnant.

But the only thing you would experience at 12 weeks is bloating or weight gain. I know for 2nd time mommies they pop out a lot sooner.

really thats so cool! Every woman is different. I was disappoited that it took me till 20 weeks to start showing. I hope that I would have been like you.

But I had a lil pooch already so I think that hid a lot of the small baby bump.

Smaller, skinny woman tend to show a lot sooner. Everyone is different. But if you are expecting people to say 'I didn't know you were pregnant!' at 12wks, it's not gonna happen (unless you were carrying 20 babies)

I'm definitely big boned, and I finally 'popped' at 33wks. Before that I just looked a little more chubby. My 'pouch' just kinda smoothed over til then, lol.

My first pregnancy, I didn't show until I was 20 weeks or beyond. I was 112 when I got pregnant with my first.

This pregnancy I started "showing" immediately, but it was bloat, not baby. Wink

I think every woman is completely different. I've gained about 7 pounds as per my scale this morning but I have yet to actually look pregnant and i'll be 18 weeks on Tuesday. My doctor said im carrying deep meaning more inwards towards my back then sticking out so I just don't look pregnant. At 12 weeks I still looked exactly the same, although a bit bloated.
