Ok well i found out 2 days ago through my sister boyfriend that my sister thinks she pregnant. They slept together 3 weeks ago. they didnt use protection but my real question is.. shes been feeling sick to her stomach but shes also experiencing sharp pains. not like anything she felt before she told me that tonight. I'm worried that maybe she might have an infection or something. That was her first time and i was told she bled ALOT.. which actually didnt sound right to me either.. She said she did have a period but it was very light and only lasted like one or 2 days is it possble? Shes really scared my parents will freak out. Shes 19 and her bf is 20 adults. Any suggestions would be great. i do plan on having my dad take her up when i go to get my birthcontrol refilled. if shes not i am going to see about having her put on birth control

Well, if she thinks she's pregnant and it's past when she has a normal period then she can take a pregnancy test to find out for sure. But usually, if you have a period, you're not pregnant.

Bleeding after sex can be normal if they didn't use a lot of lubrication and didn't take things easy-- especially on the first time. If she's still bleeding then she needs to speak with a doctor.

If she hasn't had a pelvic exam or anything then now is a good time to get one-- then she can check for infections and ask about any complications during sex, especially if she's still bleeding. Birth control sounds like a good idea, it's a lot less stressful that way. Smile

i guess she didnt bleed as bad as her bf bragged to me about. she did start a light period after but it only lasted a day. my main concern is shes been complaining about burning when she pees i think maybe he was alittle to rough or to big for her.. most likely to rough. I did talk to my parents we are going to take her in for a pelvic shes never had one i explained it to her shes nervous but up for it also she wants to go on birth control. I honestly think her bf is trying to convince her that shes pregnant so he can get his mom to send him back to oregon. And hes been talking about getting her pregnant. I know birth control isnt 100% but it will help her so she doesnt get pregnant before shes ready. Thanks for the advice i will update when i know more.. we're going in sometime this week
