my dh has had really bad headaches for over 1 week. he was brought into and urgent care, who then sent him to the ER. they did a CAT scan, and said he had a really blocked sinus over his right eye.
i should say around his right eye was very sensitive to touch. it hurt even if he put a little pressure on it. Then while at work he got really dizzy and his right eye went black. he could not see anything. that was when he went to UC then ER.
ER doc sent him to an ENT, which he went to and they said he does have a sinus infection but that isnt what caused him to lose vision temporarily. He should see a neurologist because in the CAT scan the white spot that the ER doc said is a blocked sinus, isnt. That it shouldnt be there, or it doesnt belong there. They said only a neurologist could read it properly but it could mean several things.

What could it mean? They didnt want to go into detail, but I am concerned. His appointment is next week.
any info would be helpful. thank you

Extremely eHealthy
It could be any growth that is abutting the optic nerve, causing acute visual loss, mimicking an optic neuritis.
Does he has swelling or redness around his eye?
