hi
I am a 16 year old female with current Anxiety disorders.
I had an ECG about a couple of months ago because of heart complaints,
it came back with Sinus arrhythmia, which is normal.
But yesterday when I was lying down on the sofa i felt this constant fast one beat thumping in my chest and then i had it againand then it went back to normal again, I often get it when i am stretching, but ever since then i can feel it more in my chest. Often, esepically at night or when i am hungry i can feel it more and it starts to "jump"
What exactly is Sinus arrhythmia and can putting your chest under "strain" make the symptoms worse?
anybody have the same problem?

Many people have felt a "fluttering" in their chest or thought that their heart was "skipping a beat." These are signs of arrhythmia, or abnormal or irregular heartbeat. It is extremely common.

Heart palpitations can also be a symptom of the anxiety disorder that you are suffering.

Here is a website that may answer some of your questions:
arrhythmia

If you don't think the thumping is caused by the anxiety, I would visit your doctor. I hope this helped a little!
