Q: Silly parents?

My husband thinks that our daughter might get weirded out at our "strangeness". He says that because we are young and imaginative and he plays videogames and is diagnosed with adhd and is always hyper. I think that if anything it will make our daughter more comfertable around us. I know that our daughter will love us in spite of anything (dispite what she might eventualy say). I'm just wondering, will our personalities get us the "weird" or "cool" rating?

lol. Anyone else ever think strange things like this??

I think it depends much more on whether you are comitted parents. My mom is an amazing mother. She's been through so much and yet has always made sure I have had everything I could need to be a successful person. But, she also has an outrageous sense of humor. Which has made for a wonderful relationship. Because, though she was very much a strong parent to me, she's also one of my best friends. In fact, when my best friend spends the night, all three of us hang out together because we get along that well. =) I hope that helps. And congratulations!!

your kids will love you no matter what. My husband is always playing some type of video game, and his 9yr old boy loves him. They will most likely think someone else is 'weird' because they don't play video games, you are teaching them the norm as it pertains to you.

I think almost all 'adults' play video games now. Your baby isn't going to look at you as people anyway, she is going to look at you as mom and dad. How do you think of your parents?
