Hi, I have been taking Silica for approximately 2.5 weeks now for hair thinning. I'm 41, female and generally fit. A couple of days ago I lost eyesight in one eye for half an hour and for the next three days had a headache. As I have not had this before wondering if perhaps Silica causes this? I am also taking Omega 3 in the form of Flax oil. Many thanks, Tanya

if you have hair loss maybe you have a zinc deficiency. if you really want silica oats are a good digestive source but before you go taking anything you need to learn about nutritional inbalance the best educational site i have come across is ithyroid.com it teaches us the balance that is crucial so that we dont induce a thyroid problem

RE: Many thanks
Thanks for this feedback. Actually a few years ago I went to a doctor who also a kinesiologist (who has since passed) and he said I had a zinc deficiency. I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier! Many thanks.
