Two questions:

Is significant opening and closing deviation always some sort of indication of tmj pathology?
Is loud crepitus on closing always some sort of sign of tmj patholgy?
Are htese ever normal findings?

If not, what else can cause these signs - from what I've read these signs are not normal - of course, the pain is always there as well....thanks,,
