Q: Signs of pregnancy , non-menstrual bleeding , and birth control

could i be pregnant? i am on the pill am have been for 3 years, however was very sick for a day about a month ago. the next day i had sex without any other protection. i have since had my period about 2 weeks ago and have done a pregnancy test about a week ago which came back negative.
however recently i have been having stomach cramps and backache and migranes which i have never ever had before. yestarday i began to bleed when my period is not due. this has never happened before. could i be pregnant.

Early Pregnancy Signs and Symptoms Answer A4680

Stomach cramps, backache, migraines and an irregular period are not signs of pregnancy. The negative pregnancy test is an absolute proof that you are not pregnant.

You can continue taking the birth control pills as scheduled.

If bleeding doesn't stop or becomes more excessive you may want to consult your gynecologist
