Yeah, you should definately see a doctor. And don't drink while you're pregnant.
good luck

Sounds like the test was wrong. Take another test. If you were ever pregnant, there would be enough hormones in your body (yes, still) for a positive test.

You need to get birth control.

why would you go to a party and drink, after finding out your pregnant from a test, if the test was not wrong?

How heavy was the bleeding? Heavier than a normal period? And how long did it last?

If you take another test that comes out positive it will tell you if you are/were pregnant. Even if you miscarried, it would still come out positive.

How much did you have to drink? A few light drinks wouldn't cause a miscarriage. Binge drinking might.

but either way, since doctors do not know exactaly how much alcohol can affect a fetus, why take the risk or drink at all during a pregnancy?

I'm not saying she SHOULD drink, I'm saying that the amount of alcohol consumed could be a determining factor in the miscarriage/not miscarriage game.

There is some very solid research that suggests a glass of wine per day for a pregnant, adult woman can actually be beneficial during pregnancy. Which is why I asked about the amount of alcohol consumed. More than 2 glasses of wine is considered "heavy drinking". "Binge drinking" is especially hard on a woman's system, and falls over into the fetus' quite quickly, so it is not outside the realm of possibility that an episode of "binge drinking" could cause a miscarriage.

I've heard of that too..Someone suggested it to me when they found out i was pregnant. But i don't drink that much to start [maybe a drink on a special occasion]
So i didn't think that i should pick up this 'one glass of wine a day' thing, when im not a drinker really. I don't really think a glass of wine a day is a good idea anyways..but i guess some choose a different path.
I just dont see why anyone would drink after seeing a positive sign on a pregnancy test...
Hopefully she did not drink very much, because the first 3 months are very important.

Maybe she was already planning on having an abortion so drinking was not a concern.
