Significance of Low Globulin Posted: 05-21-08 13:17pm
I just had blood work and the total
protein was 6.4 g/dl
the albumin was 4.5 g/dl and the globulin
was 1.9 g/dl. I am seeing a urologist for
large blood cells in my urine (only seen
with microscope) and just had a CT
contrast scan of my kidneys today.
What is the significance of a low globulin
level which is tied to a high GGT (GGTP)
level of 47 u/l?
