When I walk out of a lighted room into a darker room I start seeing little black dots and it happens to me once in awhile. Sometimes it happens when I'm Watching tv or on the computer. I heard this could be a sign of detached retina? When I heard that I got a little scared. If someone can give me a little info that would be great! thank you..

Seeing black spots in a vision field as they move or being suspended in certain part, can indicate presence of retinal tears, retinal detachment, eye infection or inflammation.
These spots may signalize just retinal tears that usually happen with years.
If you notice increased numbers of spots, decreased vision or even appearance of a veil that obstructs a part of your vision, you are possibly experiencing a retinal detachment.
