I had my gallbladder removed last year may. Since then its been a roller coaster of emotions, I caught a stomach infection after the surgery, they found a white fatty cist on my liver, had to have a couple of MRI scans and tests. Eventually in November i had a course of two anti biotics and antacids for two weeks, took the antacids for a further month. My bowel movements have been so erratic, i go to the toilet between 4-6 times a day and don't have formed poo. In the last 4weeks i've been experiencing a dull pain on the right hand side just below the ribs and towards the back. I'm just tired of feeling like this. My diet has always been very healthy, Gallstones run in my family my mother had them in her late twenties and my fathers mother had them in her mid thirties. I'm now 29 and feel low. When I go to the toilet it really stinks.
What can i do to improve my bowel, I take probiotic capsuls and digestive enzymes, I had colonic irrigation in August this year and feel a bit better but not on top of the world. I'm also getting lots of pimple like spots on my cheeks and fine heat rash looking spots on my forhead. I've had my bloods checked at the GP 4weeks ago and everything came back fine, which was great news, butleaves me feeling like I'm going crazy.

Anyone gone through this?

Some people do develop chronic diarrhea after having their gallbladder removed. It often improves over time even without treatment. This website may give you some further treatment ideas: chronic diarrhea

Have you talked to your doctor about the pain on the right side? It sounds like something that would be worth discussing with him, especially if it started after your last appointment.
