what are the side effects for the cataract surgery (eye surgery)??
my dad did the said surgery for the right eye and it works after 6 months he did for the left and after 2 months he is seeing black points in his left eye in addition he is now seeing black completely what is his problem?

Dark shadow preceded with black dots in vision can indicated retinal detachment (the retina peels away from its underlying layer of support tissue).
Cataract surgery is the most common risk factor for this condition.
This must be diagnosed by examination as soon as possible.
The earlier the diagnosis is made, the greater the chance to restore vision.

He must visit his ophthalmologist!
