I have been diagonosed with Bi-polar after a manic episode 5 years ago that resulted in hospitalisation. After a stable period I become unwell again and due to Olanzapene disagreeing with me have been prescibed aripiprazole.

After taking the aripiprazole for a number of weeks I have noticed that although my moods have stabilsed I am suffering from severe anxiety, paranoia and worry constantly.

A particular worrying side effect is the feeling of swallowing my tongue, in fact I have been waking up fearful I am choking.

Has anyone experienced such symptoms with Aripiprazole?
