Side Effects and Gall Bladder

Over a year ago I started taking your basic birth control pill. I had to stop taking it because the side effects were so severe. Last December I was diagnosed with Gall Bladder disease. I have had my Gall Bladder removed and was wondering if my defected gall bladder caused the side effects to be so harsh. I beleive that it does, because I had severe side effects to any medicines when my gall bladder was infected. I would like to get back on the pill again, but I am scared of how sick it might make me. I would like to have a little insight as if my infected Gall Bladder caused such harsh side effects to the birth control.
